This policy covers avant8.com, the website of Avant8, 449 E 3900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84107. It explains what the site collects, why, who handles it for us and what you can ask us to do. It takes effect on November 5, 2026.
Who we are
Avant8 runs this site and decides how the information it collects is used. To ask about anything in this policy, use the contact page.
What we collect
Only what you send us. The contact form asks for:
- your name
- your email address
- your company
- what you're working on
- a budget range, if you pick one
With your message we also keep the page you sent it from and the time you sent it.
When you send the form, your IP address is used to stop anyone sending a flood of messages and to check the message for spam. It isn't saved with your message.
What we don't collect
The site doesn't use analytics or advertising tags, and browsing it doesn't set any cookies. Cookies are only set when someone on our team signs in to manage the site. If that changes, for example if we add analytics, this page will say so first.
Why we use it
To read and answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of the conversation if we end up working together. We don't sell or rent your information, and sending the form doesn't add you to a mailing list.
Who handles it for us
A few companies run parts of the site for us. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, it keeps server logs, including IP addresses, to run the site and keep it secure.
- Neon stores the site's database, which includes form messages.
- Resend delivers form messages to our inbox by email.
- Google Workspace runs our email, so the messages Resend delivers are stored there.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when it loads them.
- Our spam filter (Rspamd) runs on our own server and scores each message before it's passed on.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for as long as we need them to answer and follow up on your enquiry, and longer only if we work together. Messages marked as spam stay in the same place until we clear them. Ask, and we'll delete your messages sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- stop using it
Depending on where you live, for example the EU, the UK or California, the law may give you more rights, and we honor them. To ask, use the contact page and tell us what you'd like. We'll check the request comes from you, then do it.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over HTTPS, and form messages can only be read by our team once they've signed in.
Children
The site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
